It has been an amazingly busy year! We have had so many adventures since September. I enjoyed coaching fall and spring soccer this year, that defiantly allowed me to have some fun with the girls! The band had another fantastic year and we were able to head out on another Disney Adventure in November!
Mike got involved in soccer for the first time over the spring, and well, he is still speaking to me. The girls are happy that it is summer break and they are really enjoying their time at Jacob's Ladder this month. We never know where our life adventures may take us, but it has been a true adventure and we have truly enjoyed every moment that we have had.

When I take on one to many task, I forget to do a lot of things. One of those things is just to brag on my kids, or talk about our adventures. I guess I will be playing catch up over the next few weeks to let everyone see what we've been up to lately.
I've been trying to keep the girls occupied since Mike has gone back to work, but my crafting may be contagious:). The girls completed rock painting yesterday and today I am trying to get some of Zoey's art work up from the Harbor four year old program and I think I have let my crafting take over. I am technically supposed to be working on a paper, but I am trying to decide if I want to finish the Disney World scrap book that I have out off for more than a year.
Well after a month of not really raising my voice to the girls, I failed. I ended up actually borderline yelling this morning. It was like having an out of body experience after all of these weeks. I know that being a mom is an on going learning experience, but I hate feeling like a failure. I want the girls to grow up healthy and happy. I think most of my frustration also has to do with the fact that Mike is back to work full time, and I am just flat out having a hard time adjusting to being the band director's wife at the same time.
Summer has flown by due to interviews, workshops, and just daily going ons. I can't believe Mike had to go back to work today. Oh we'll, December isn't to far away.
Finally got the girls better and now poor Happy Feet is sick. It has been a long couple of weeks trying to get everyone well, and hopefully we can add Happy to the mix.
We have officially installed Dr. Bruce McClendon as the new pastor at First Presbyterian Church of Alexander City. It was nice to get to sing in the choir tonight and be part of such an awesome experience.
We were back for an hour before the need to clean over took me. I think I have cleaned everything that I can and put everything away that I can without waking the girls. Glad the dog is not home quite yet or I would be nutty. Now if I could just go to sleep.
