Well, registration is upon us and the class of 2020 is anxious and excited. I can't wait to see how this year goes for them.
Lots of questions about dual enrollment versus AP at registration. Here's my opinion, everyone should always take the courses that will provide them with the most exposure if they are college bound. I'm frugal so I'm always about saving money and taking an AP class is free except for the exam. However, I am a terrible test taker, I always have been because I get so anxious taking test. So for my dual enrollment was always the best option. You get what you put into the course, So the more you put into test taking skills and understanding the content, the better off you are. If you perform well in the classroom, then the credit is guaranteed as long as you do your part in the course work. Here's what I am not a fan of, if we have someone who can teach the course, take the course with the teacher, it's never a good idea to trade ACCESS over a real life person unless you have no other option. But, I think I've expressed myself when it comes to that.
